Here’s What We’re Up To

1. We’re paving the way for the nation’s first People’s Convention giving every American an equal and fair opportunity to step in, be heard, and upgrade and strengthen their democracy as they see fit. 2. We’re eliminating the obstacles to every American exercising their constitutional right to bypass Congress and hold their own convention under Article V of the Constitution to propose, explore and discuss proposals to upgrade and strengthen their democracy themselves–as early a

Someone’s Got to Be Adult About This

Why do we Americans—some of the most creative, generous and intelligent people in the history of the world—get sucked into these long, divisive and typically trivial political battles? They don’t produce much of anything except division, frustration and animosity—and they eat up lots of valuable time and energy. That’s not only a loss for us, but for the rest of the world too. We Americans really can regain our international reputation of being Generous, Fair-Minded, Can-Do People—b

Lots of interesting pros and cons were explored in a dignified, thoughtful and intel

A constitutional convention is the only way Americans can upgrade and strengthen their democracy themselves. There’s never been a constitutional convention—because there are no rules and that frightens some people. The purpose of We the People is to demonstrate and prov

Observation #1– Democracy and the Human Brain

In managing We the People in upgrading our democratic process, I may occasionally share some observations that I think may be worthwhile.  Here’s Observation #1 – It’s from the world of modern science. 1.  In the early stages of human brain development: Democracy is not natural—i.e. cooperation, interest in community, equality and fairness Law of the Jungle is natural—i.e. biggest, strongest, fastest, cleverest wins and dominates others 2.  However, in the later stages of brain
